1 καὶ ἐλάλησεν κύριος πρὸς Μωυσῆν λέγων 2 ἔντειλαι τοῖς υἱοῖς Ισραηλ καὶ ἐρεῖς πρὸς αὐτούς ὑμεῖς εἰσπορεύεσθε εἰς τὴν γῆν Χανααν αὕτη ἔσται ὑμῖν εἰς κληρονομίαν γῆ Χανααν σὺν τοῖς ὁρίοις αὐτῆς 3 καὶ ἔσται ὑμῖν τὸ κλίτος τὸ πρὸς λίβα ἀπὸ ἐρήμου Σιν ἕως ἐχόμενον Εδωμ καὶ ἔσται ὑμῖν τὰ ὅρια πρὸς λίβα ἀπὸ μέρους τῆς θαλάσσης τῆς ἁλυκῆς ἀπὸ ἀνατολῶν 4 καὶ κυκλώσει ὑμᾶς τὰ ὅρια ἀπὸ λιβὸς πρὸς ἀνάβασιν Ακραβιν καὶ παρελεύσεται Σεννα καὶ ἔσται ἡ διέξοδος αὐτοῦ πρὸς λίβα Καδης τοῦ Βαρνη καὶ ἐξελεύσεται εἰς ἔπαυλιν Αραδ καὶ παρελεύσεται Ασεμωνα 5 καὶ κυκλώσει τὰ ὅρια ἀπὸ Ασεμωνα χειμάρρουν Αἰγύπτου καὶ ἔσται ἡ διέξοδος ἡ θάλασσα 6 καὶ τὰ ὅρια τῆς θαλάσσης ἔσται ὑμῖν ἡ θάλασσα ἡ μεγάλη ὁριεῖ τοῦτο ἔσται ὑμῖν τὰ ὅρια τῆς θαλάσσης 7 καὶ τοῦτο ἔσται τὰ ὅρια ὑμῖν πρὸς βορρᾶν ἀπὸ τῆς θαλάσσης τῆς μεγάλης καταμετρήσετε ὑμῖν αὐτοῖς παρὰ τὸ ὄρος τὸ ὄρος 8 καὶ ἀπὸ τοῦ ὄρους τὸ ὄρος καταμετρήσετε αὐτοῖς εἰσπορευομένων εἰς Εμαθ καὶ ἔσται ἡ διέξοδος αὐτοῦ τὰ ὅρια Σαραδα 9 καὶ ἐξελεύσεται τὰ ὅρια Δεφρωνα καὶ ἔσται ἡ διέξοδος αὐτοῦ Ασερναιν τοῦτο ἔσται ὑμῖν ὅρια ἀπὸ βορρᾶ 10 καὶ καταμετρήσετε ὑμῖν αὐτοῖς τὰ ὅρια ἀνατολῶν ἀπὸ Ασερναιν Σεπφαμα 11 καὶ καταβήσεται τὰ ὅρια ἀπὸ Σεπφαμ Αρβηλα ἀπὸ ἀνατολῶν ἐπὶ πηγάς καὶ καταβήσεται τὰ ὅρια Βηλα ἐπὶ νώτου θαλάσσης Χεναρα ἀπὸ ἀνατολῶν 12 καὶ καταβήσεται τὰ ὅρια ἐπὶ τὸν Ιορδάνην καὶ ἔσται ἡ διέξοδος θάλασσα ἡ ἁλυκή αὕτη ἔσται ὑμῖν ἡ γῆ καὶ τὰ ὅρια αὐτῆς κύκλῳ | 1 And the Lord bade Moses 2 give this message too to the Israelites: When you have entered Chanaan and duly taken possession of it, these shall be the frontiers that bound it. 3 The southern end of your territory will begin at the desert of Sin, by Edom, bordered on the east by the Sea of Salt. 4 Its border on the south shall curve along the Scorpion Pass till it crosses over to Senna, and reaches southward as far as Cades-Barne; then it will go to the town called Adar, and pass on to Asemona. 5 From Asemona it will curve round to the Brook of Egypt, ending at the shore of the Great Sea. 6 On the western side, your territories shall begin at the Great Sea; they shall have no other frontier than this. 7 Your northern border will stretch from the Great Sea to Summit mountain, 8 and so by Emath to the edge of Sedada, 9 and on to Zephrona and the village of Enan; all this on the north. 10 From this village of Enan you will mark out your eastern border till it reaches Sephama, 11 passing from Sephama to Rebla, close to the well of Daphnis, and from there to the eastern shore of Lake Cenereth. 12 So it will fall into the Jordan valley and end at last with the Sea of Salt. These shall be the frontiers that bound your land.[1] | 1 Locutusque est Dominus ad Moysen, dicens: 2 Præcipe filiis Israël, et dices ad eos: Cum ingressi fueritis terram Chanaan, et in possessionem vobis sorte ceciderit, his finibus terminabitur. Hi erunt termini in parte aquilonis. |
13 καὶ ἐνετείλατο Μωυσῆς τοῖς υἱοῖς Ισραηλ λέγων αὕτη ἡ γῆ ἣν κατακληρονομήσετε αὐτὴν μετὰ κλήρου ὃν τρόπον συνέταξεν κύριος τῷ Μωυσῇ δοῦναι αὐτὴν ταῖς ἐννέα φυλαῖς καὶ τῷ ἡμίσει φυλῆς Μανασση 14 ὅτι ἔλαβεν φυλὴ υἱῶν Ρουβην καὶ φυλὴ υἱῶν Γαδ κα{T'} οἴκους πατριῶν αὐτῶν καὶ τὸ ἥμισυ φυλῆς Μανασση ἀπέλαβον τοὺς κλήρους αὐτῶν 15 δύο φυλαὶ καὶ ἥμισυ φυλῆς ἔλαβον τοὺς κλήρους αὐτῶν πέραν τοῦ Ιορδάνου κατὰ Ιεριχω ἀπὸ νότου κα{T'} ἀνατολάς | 13 So Moses passed on word to the Israelites that this was the territory they were to divide up by lot; the Lord’s destined gift to nine and a half out of the twelve tribes. 14 (All the clans of Ruben’s tribe and of the tribe of Gad, with half the tribe of Manasses, 15 two and a half tribes in all, had received their portion on the eastern bank of Jordan opposite Jericho.)
First, the high priest Eleazar and Josue the son of Nun, 18 and then the chieftains of the several tribes, as follows. 19 For Juda, Caleb the son of Jephone, 20 for Simeon, Samuel the son of Ammiud, 21 for Benjamin, Elidad the son of Chaselon, 22 for Dan, Bocci the son of Jogli. 23 And among Joseph’s descendants, for Manasses, Hanniel the son of Ephod, 24 for Ephraim, Camuel the son of Sephthan. 25 For Zabulon, Elisaphan the son of Pharnach, 26 for Issachar, Phaltiel the son of Ozan, 27 for Aser, Ahiud the son of Salomi, 28 for Nephthali, Phedael the son of Ammiud. 29 These were the men the Lord appointed to divide up Chanaan between the Israelites.
