1 καὶ ἐλάλησεν κύριος πρὸς Μωυσῆν λέγων 2 ἰδοὺ ἀνακέκλημαι ἐξ ὀνόματος τὸν Βεσελεηλ τὸν τοῦ Ουριου τὸν Ωρ τῆς φυλῆς Ιουδα 3 καὶ ἐνέπλησα αὐτὸν πνεῦμα θεῖον σοφίας καὶ συνέσεως καὶ ἐπιστήμης ἐν παντὶ ἔργῳ 4 διανοεῖσθαι καὶ ἀρχιτεκτονῆσαι ἐργάζεσθαι τὸ χρυσίον καὶ τὸ ἀργύριον καὶ τὸν χαλκὸν καὶ τὴν ὑάκινθον καὶ τὴν πορφύραν καὶ τὸ κόκκινον τὸ νηστὸν καὶ τὴν βύσσον τὴν κεκλωσμένην 5 καὶ τὰ λιθουργικὰ καὶ εἰς τὰ ἔργα τὰ τεκτονικὰ τῶν ξύλων ἐργάζεσθαι κατὰ πάντα τὰ ἔργα 6 καὶ ἐγὼ ἔδωκα αὐτὸν καὶ τὸν Ελιαβ τὸν τοῦ Αχισαμαχ ἐκ φυλῆς Δαν καὶ παντὶ συνετῷ καρδίᾳ δέδωκα σύνεσιν καὶ ποιήσουσιν πάντα ὅσα σοι συνέταξα 7 τὴν σκηνὴν τοῦ μαρτυρίου καὶ τὴν κιβωτὸν τῆς διαθήκης καὶ τὸ ἱλαστήριον τὸ ἐ{P'} αὐτῆς καὶ τὴν διασκευὴν τῆς σκηνῆς 8 καὶ τὰ θυσιαστήρια καὶ τὴν τράπεζαν καὶ πάντα τὰ σκεύη αὐτῆς καὶ τὴν λυχνίαν τὴν καθαρὰν καὶ πάντα τὰ σκεύη αὐτῆς 9 καὶ τὸν λουτῆρα καὶ τὴν βάσιν αὐτοῦ 10 καὶ τὰς στολὰς τὰς λειτουργικὰς Ααρων καὶ τὰς στολὰς τῶν υἱῶν αὐτοῦ ἱερατεύειν μοι 11 καὶ τὸ ἔλαιον τῆς χρίσεως καὶ τὸ θυμίαμα τῆς συνθέσεως τοῦ ἁγίου κατὰ πάντα ὅσα ἐγὼ ἐνετειλάμην σοι ποιήσουσιν 1 And now the Lord said to Moses, 2 Here is the name of the man I have singled out to help thee, Beseleel, son of Uri, son of Hur, of the tribe of Juda. 3 I have filled him with my divine spirit, making him wise, adroit, and skilful in every kind of craftsmanship; 4 so that he can design whatever is to be designed in gold, silver, and bronze, 5 carve both stone and jewel, and woods of all sorts. 6 I have found a partner for him in Oöliab, son of Achisamech, of the tribe of Dan; and I have inspired the hearts of all the craftsmen with skill to carry out the commands which I have given thee. 7 The tabernacle which attests my covenant,[1] the ark that bears record of me, the throne above it, and all the appurtenances of the tabernacle, 8 the table with its appurtenances, the lamp-stand of pure gold and all that goes with it, the altar for incense 9 and the altar for burnt-sacrifice, and all that goes with these, the basin and its stand, 10 the sacred vestments to be worn by the high priest Aaron and his sons when they perform their holy office, 11 the oil for anointing, and the incense that is to perfume the sanctuary, all that I have bidden thee make, shall be made through their workmanship.
12 καὶ ἐλάλησεν κύριος πρὸς Μωυσῆν λέγων 13 καὶ σὺ σύνταξον τοῖς υἱοῖς Ισραηλ λέγων ὁρᾶτε καὶ τὰ σάββατά μου φυλάξεσθε σημεῖόν ἐστιν πα{R'} ἐμοὶ καὶ ἐν ὑμῖν εἰς τὰς γενεὰς ὑμῶν ἵνα γνῶτε ὅτι ἐγὼ κύριος ὁ ἁγιάζων ὑμᾶς 14 καὶ φυλάξεσθε τὰ σάββατα ὅτι ἅγιον τοῦτό ἐστιν κυρίου ὑμῖν ὁ βεβηλῶν αὐτὸ θανάτῳ θανατωθήσεται πᾶς ὃς ποιήσει ἐν αὐτῷ ἔργον ἐξολεθρευθήσεται ἡ ψυχὴ ἐκείνη ἐκ μέσου τοῦ λαοῦ αὐτοῦ 15 ἓξ ἡμέρας ποιήσεις ἔργα τῇ δὲ ἡμέρᾳ τῇ ἑβδόμῃ σάββατα ἀνάπαυσις ἁγία τῷ κυρίῳ πᾶς ὃς ποιήσει ἔργον τῇ ἡμέρᾳ τῇ ἑβδόμῃ θανάτῳ θανατωθήσεται 16 καὶ φυλάξουσιν οἱ υἱοὶ Ισραηλ τὰ σάββατα ποιεῖν αὐτὰ εἰς τὰς γενεὰς αὐτῶν διαθήκη αἰώνιος 17 ἐν ἐμοὶ καὶ τοῖς υἱοῖς Ισραηλ σημεῖόν ἐστιν αἰώνιον ὅτι ἐν ἓξ ἡμέραις ἐποίησεν κύριος τὸν οὐρανὸν καὶ τὴν γῆν καὶ τῇ ἡμέρᾳ τῇ ἑβδόμῃ ἐπαύσατο καὶ κατέπαυσεν 12 This, too, was the Lord’s word to Moses: 13 Give the sons of Israel a warning from me, Be sure that you observe the sabbath day.[2] It is a token between us, that is to last all through the ages which lie before you, reminding you that I am the Lord, and you are set apart for me. 14 Keep my sabbath; it has a binding claim on you, on pain of death for all who violate it. The man who does any work on that day is lost to his people. 15 You have six days to work in; the seventh is the sabbath, a day of rest set apart for the Lord, and if anybody works on that day, his life must pay for it. 16 It is for the sons of Israel to observe my sabbath and honour it among themselves, age after age. It is an undying covenant, 17 a perpetual token between me and the Israelites; the Lord spent six days making heaven and earth, and on the seventh he rested from his labours.
18 καὶ ἔδωκεν Μωυσεῖ ἡνίκα κατέπαυσεν λαλῶν αὐτῷ ἐν τῷ ὄρει τῷ Σινα τὰς δύο πλάκας τοῦ μαρτυρίου πλάκας λιθίνας γεγραμμένας τῷ δακτύλῳ τοῦ θεοῦ 18 Then, at the end of all this converse with Moses on mount Sinai, the Lord gave him two stone tablets, with laws inscribed on them by the very finger of God. 18 Deditque Dominus Moysi, completis hujuscemodi sermonibus in monte Sinai, duas tabulas testimonii lapideas, scriptas digito Dei.
