1 καὶ ἐποίησαν τῇ σκηνῇ δέκα αὐλαίας 2 ὀκτὼ καὶ εἴκοσι πήχεων μῆκος τῆς αὐλαίας τῆς μιᾶς τὸ αὐτὸ ἦσαν πᾶσαι καὶ τεσσάρων πηχῶν τὸ εὖρος τῆς αὐλαίας τῆς μιᾶς 3 καὶ ἐποίησαν τὸ καταπέτασμα ἐξ ὑακίνθου καὶ πορφύρας καὶ κοκκίνου νενησμένου καὶ βύσσου κεκλωσμένης ἔργον ὑφάντου χερουβιμ 4 καὶ ἐπέθηκαν αὐτὸ ἐπὶ τέσσαρας στύλους ἀσήπτους κατακεχρυσωμένους ἐν χρυσίῳ καὶ αἱ κεφαλίδες αὐτῶν χρυσαῖ καὶ αἱ βάσεις αὐτῶν τέσσαρες ἀργυραῖ 5 καὶ ἐποίησαν τὸ καταπέτασμα τῆς θύρας τῆς σκηνῆς τοῦ μαρτυρίου ἐξ ὑακίνθου καὶ πορφύρας καὶ κοκκίνου νενησμένου καὶ βύσσου κεκλωσμένης ἔργον ὑφάντου χερουβιμ 1 Besellel also made an ark of acacia wood, two and a half cubits long, with a breadth and height of one and a half cubits, and gave it a covering and a lining of pure gold, 2 putting a coping of gold all round the top of it, 3 and four rings, cast in gold, at its four corners, two on each of the flanks. 4 Then he made poles of acacia wood, gilded over, 5 and passed them through the rings on the sides of the ark, so as to carry it. 1 Fecit autem Beseleel et arcam de lignis setim, habentem duos semis cubitos in longitudine, et cubitum ac semissem in latitudine, altitudo quoque unius cubiti fuit et dimidii: vestivitque eam auro purissimo intus ac foris.
6 καὶ τοὺς στύλους αὐτοῦ πέντε καὶ τοὺς κρίκους καὶ τὰς κεφαλίδας αὐτῶν καὶ τὰς ψαλίδας αὐτῶν κατεχρύσωσαν χρυσίῳ καὶ αἱ βάσεις αὐτῶν πέντε χαλκαῖ 7 καὶ ἐποίησαν τὴν αὐλήν τὰ πρὸς λίβα ἱστία τῆς αὐλῆς ἐκ βύσσου κεκλωσμένης ἑκατὸν ἐ{F'} ἑκατόν 8 καὶ οἱ στῦλοι αὐτῶν εἴκοσι καὶ αἱ βάσεις αὐτῶν εἴκοσι 9 καὶ τὸ κλίτος τὸ πρὸς βορρᾶν ἑκατὸν ἐ{F'} ἑκατόν καὶ οἱ στῦλοι αὐτῶν εἴκοσι καὶ αἱ βάσεις αὐτῶν εἴκοσι 6 He made a throne, too, or shrine, of pure gold, two and a half cubits long, one and a half cubits broad, 7 and two cherubs of pure beaten gold, which he set up on either side of the throne, each of them at its extreme edge. 8 And these two cherubs that stood at the extreme edges of the throne 9 overshadowed it with their outspread wings, facing towards it and towards each other.
10 καὶ τὸ κλίτος τὸ πρὸς θάλασσαν αὐλαῖαι πεντήκοντα πήχεων στῦλοι αὐτῶν δέκα καὶ αἱ βάσεις αὐτῶν δέκα 11 καὶ τὸ κλίτος τὸ πρὸς ἀνατολὰς πεντήκοντα πήχεων 12 ἱστία πεντεκαίδεκα πήχεων τὸ κατὰ νώτου καὶ οἱ στῦλοι αὐτῶν τρεῖς καὶ αἱ βάσεις αὐτῶν τρεῖς 13 καὶ ἐπὶ τοῦ νώτου τοῦ δευτέρου ἔνθεν καὶ ἔνθεν κατὰ τὴν πύλην τῆς αὐλῆς αὐλαῖαι πεντεκαίδεκα πήχεων καὶ οἱ στῦλοι αὐτῶν τρεῖς καὶ αἱ βάσεις αὐτῶν τρεῖς 14 πᾶσαι αἱ αὐλαῖαι τῆς αὐλῆς ἐκ βύσσου κεκλωσμένης 15 καὶ αἱ βάσεις τῶν στύλων χαλκαῖ καὶ αἱ ἀγκύλαι αὐτῶν ἀργυραῖ καὶ αἱ κεφαλίδες αὐτῶν περιηργυρωμέναι ἀργυρίῳ καὶ οἱ στῦλοι περιηργυρωμένοι ἀργυρίῳ πάντες οἱ στῦλοι τῆς αὐλῆς 16 καὶ τὸ καταπέτασμα τῆς πύλης τῆς αὐλῆς ἔργον ποικιλτοῦ ἐξ ὑακίνθου καὶ πορφύρας καὶ κοκκίνου νενησμένου καὶ βύσσου κεκλωσμένης εἴκοσι πήχεων τὸ μῆκος καὶ τὸ ὕψος καὶ τὸ εὖρος πέντε πήχεων ἐξισούμενον τοῖς ἱστίοις τῆς αὐλῆς 10 And he made a table of acacia wood, two cubits long, a cubit broad, and a cubit and a half in height; 11 this he gilded with pure gold, and made a rim of gold about its edge, 12 with an embossed coping four inches high, and a second coping of gold over that. 13 Then he cast four rings and fixed them to the four corners of the table, one by each leg 14 close to the coping; and he put poles through them, that would carry the table; 15 these poles, too, he made of acacia wood, and gilded them over. 16 So with the appurtenances of the table, cups, and bowls, and dishes, and goblets for pouring out libations; all were of pure gold.
17 καὶ οἱ στῦλοι αὐτῶν τέσσαρες καὶ αἱ βάσεις αὐτῶν τέσσαρες χαλκαῖ καὶ αἱ ἀγκύλαι αὐτῶν ἀργυραῖ καὶ αἱ κεφαλίδες αὐτῶν περιηργυρωμέναι ἀργυρίῳ 18 καὶ αὐτοὶ περιηργυρωμένοι ἀργυρίῳ καὶ πάντες οἱ πάσσαλοι τῆς αὐλῆς κύκλῳ χαλκοῖ 19 καὶ αὕτη ἡ σύνταξις τῆς σκηνῆς τοῦ μαρτυρίου καθὰ συνετάγη Μωυσῇ τὴν λειτουργίαν εἶναι τῶν Λευιτῶν διὰ Ιθαμαρ τοῦ υἱοῦ Ααρων τοῦ ἱερέως 20 καὶ Βεσελεηλ ὁ τοῦ Ουριου ἐκ φυλῆς Ιουδα ἐποίησεν καθὰ συνέταξεν κύριος τῷ Μωυσῇ 21 καὶ Ελιαβ ὁ τοῦ Αχισαμακ ἐκ τῆς φυλῆς Δαν ὃς ἠρχιτεκτόνησεν τὰ ὑφαντὰ καὶ τὰ ῥαφιδευτὰ καὶ ποικιλτικὰ ὑφᾶναι τῷ κοκκίνῳ καὶ τῇ βύσσῳ 22 23 24 17 And he made a lamp-stand of pure beaten gold, with branches coming out from its stem, all with their cups and bosses and fleurs-de-lis. 18 Six branches stood about the stem, three on either side; 19 and on each branch there were three cups shaped like almond-flowers, then a boss, then a fleur-de-lis, balanced by three cups and a boss and a fleur-de-lis on the opposite branch; such was the fashion of all the six branches that came out of the stem. 20 But the stem itself had four cups, shaped like almond-flowers, each with its boss and its fleur-de-lis; 21 there were six branches altogether coming out of a single stem, and under each pair of them there was an additional boss. 22 The bosses and the branches were all of a piece with the main stem, and all alike were of pure beaten gold. 23 He made seven lamps, too, with snuffers and trays for the burnt wick, all of pure gold. 24 The whole weight of the lamp-stand, together with its appurtenances, was a talent of gold.
25 26 27 28 25 And he made an altar of acacia wood for burning incense, a cubit square, with a height of two cubits; it had horns at the corners. 26 And he covered the whole with pure gold, the grate and the walls around it and the horns too. 27 It had a rim of gold about it, and close under the rim two gold rings on either side, for putting poles in, so that the altar could be carried. 28 These poles, too, were of acacia wood, gilded over.
29 29 And he made oil for the hallowing ointment, and incense of pure spices, with all the art of a perfumer.
