| 2 πάντα τὰ ἔθνη κροτήσατε χεῖρας ἀλαλάξατε τῷ θεῷ ἐν φωνῇ ἀγαλλιάσεως 3 ὅτι κύριος ὕψιστος φοβερός βασιλεὺς μέγας ἐπὶ πᾶσαν τὴν γῆν 4 ὑπέταξεν λαοὺς ἡμῖν καὶ ἔθνη ὑπὸ τοὺς πόδας ἡμῶν 5 ἐξελέξατο ἡμῖν τὴν κληρονομίαν αὐτοῦ τὴν καλλονὴν Ιακωβ ἣν ἠγάπησεν διάψαλμα 6 ἀνέβη ὁ θεὸς ἐν ἀλαλαγμῷ κύριος ἐν φωνῇ σάλπιγγος 7 ψάλατε τῷ θεῷ ἡμῶν ψάλατε ψάλατε τῷ βασιλεῖ ἡμῶν ψάλατε 8 ὅτι βασιλεὺς πάσης τῆς γῆς ὁ θεός ψάλατε συνετῶς 9 ἐβασίλευσεν ὁ θεὸς ἐπὶ τὰ ἔθνη ὁ θεὸς κάθηται ἐπὶ θρόνου ἁγίου αὐτοῦ 10 ἄρχοντες λαῶν συνήχθησαν μετὰ τοῦ θεοῦ Αβρααμ ὅτι τοῦ θεοῦ οἱ κραταιοὶ τῆς γῆς σφόδρα ἐπήρθησαν | 2 Clap your hands, all you nations, in applause; acclaim your God with cries of rejoicing. 3 The Lord is high above us, and worthy of dread; he is the sovereign Ruler of all the earth; 4 he has tamed the nations to our will, bowed the Gentiles at our feet, 5 claimed us for his own portion, Jacob the fair, the well beloved. 6 God goes up, loud are the cries of victory; the Lord goes up, loudly the trumpets peal. 7 A psalm, a psalm for our God, a psalm, a psalm for our King! 8 God is King of all the earth; sound the hymn of praise! 9 God reigns over the heathen, God sits enthroned in holiness. 10 The rulers of the nations throw in their lot with us, that worship Abraham’s God; a God so high, he has all earth’s princes for his vassals. | 2 Omnes gentes, plaudite manibus; jubilate Deo in voce exsultationis: 3 quoniam Dominus excelsus, terribilis, rex magnus super omnem terram. 4 Subjecit populos nobis, et gentes sub pedibus nostris. 5 Elegit nobis hæreditatem suam; speciem Jacob quam dilexit. 6 Ascendit Deus in jubilo, et Dominus in voce tubæ. 7 Psallite Deo nostro, psallite; psallite regi nostro, psallite: 8 quoniam rex omnis terræ Deus, psallite sapienter. 9 Regnabit Deus super gentes; Deus sedet super sedem sanctam suam. 10 Principes populorum congregati sunt cum Deo Abraham, quoniam dii fortes terræ vehementer elevati sunt. |
